RE:                 Pro-Life Action Day

We want to take this opportunity to invite you to the rally scheduled for Tuesday, February 19 at noon in the first floor rotunda of the Missouri State Capitol.

The focus of this year’s rally is legislation that would regulate RU 486 abortions. Over the last 10 years abortions in Missouri have declined by 25%. We know pro-lifers working together to pass pro-life legislation, to pray in front of abortion clinics, to do great work in the pregnancy resource centers, to speaking out against abortion from numerous walks of faith and the involvement of pro-life citizens across the State of Missouri have made this difference. Sadly, in 2011, the latest numbers available, we still saw 9,225 tiny little lives taken through abortions. Our work is not over!

Web-cam abortions are abortions done by a video conferencing system where the abortionist is located at one location and uses a closed circuit TV to talk with a woman who is at another location over a computer video screen. Planned Parenthood has formulated the web-cam abortion scheme and is mandated in other states that all of its family planning clinics participate.

Pro-life Missourians want pro-life legislators to be pro-active in addressing an imminent danger to innocent human lives in Missouri.

Attached is our lobby day flyer that gives more information on our speaker, Sue Thayer. Sue is a former Planned Parenthood clinic manager from Iowa and has a chilling story to tell regarding the efforts of Planned Parenthood to expand their abortion business.

We will also promote other pro-life legislation. We encourage you to attend and be recognized. Please contact our office at 573-635-5110 and let us know if you plan to attend.
