Legislative Update – February 13, 2015

There have been 963 bills and 95 various resolutions filed in the House. 
And, there have been 443 bills and 41 various resolutions filed in the Senate.
Your Missouri Right to Life Legislative Team is actively reviewing and acting on all bills dealing with life issues.  This report gives you an update on relevant bills each week.

Alternative-to-Abortion Funds Restored in HB 5:
Governor’s Budget Proposal did not have funding for Alternatives-to-Abortion Agencies.
House Appropriations - General Administration Committee voted to put $1,500,000 into the budget for Alternatives-to-Abortion Agencies.  HB 5 still has to go through the complete legislative process.
