2016 Priority Legislation:
- Expanding Abortion Clinic Inspections, Accountability for Disposal of Baby Body Parts, Ensure no selling or buying of baby body parts is happening in Missouri from in state abortion clinics or out of state clinics, Accountability for licensing of abortionists and abortion facilities as well as oversight of connections between abortion facilities and public institutions.
- Ban Dismemberment Abortions.
- Defund Planned Parenthood.
SB 644 – Sponsor: Bob Onder - Modifies provisions related to abortion. Includes pro-life language for donation of fetal tissue, tissue reporting, physician privileges, ambulatory surgical center reporting and abortion facility inspections (Support)
HB 1953 - Sponsor: Kathryn Swan - Modifies provisions related to abortion. Includes pro-life language for donation of fetal tissue, tissue reporting, physician privileges, ambulatory surgical center reporting and abortion facility inspections (Support)

Legislation filed for the 2016 session began Tuesday, December 1, 2015. At this time there have been 267 bills and 18 various resolutions filed in the Senate. And, there have been 590 bills and 11 various resolutions filed in the House.

SB 802 – Sponsor: David Sater - Prohibits abortions performed solely because of a prenatal diagnosis, test, or screening indicating Down Syndrome or the potential of Down Syndrome in an unborn child (Support)
SB 744 – Sponsor: Brian Munzlinger - Relating to the transparency and accountability of public funds (Under Review)
SB 766 – Sponsor: Eric Schmitt - Requires the State Auditor to audit the University of Missouri System at least once annually (Under Review)
SB 767 – Sponsor: Eric Schmitt - Requires public colleges and universities to post certain course information on their Internet websites (Under Review)
SJR 30 – Sponsor: Dan Hegeman - Relating to the nonpartisan court plan (Under Review)

HB 1370 – Sponsor: Rocky Miller - Changes the laws regarding consent for a minor to obtain an abortion (Support)

HB 1794 – Sponsor: Mike Moon - Establishes the "All Lives Matter Act", which changes the laws regarding the finding that life begins at conception (In Discussion)
