Legislative Update – April 27, 2018

Pray for our State and Statewide Leaders
Session ends at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18

Senate Votes on Appropriations Bills.  Bills now move to Conference.
During the evening session on April 25th in the Missouri State Senate:
Pro-life Senators stood against pro-abortion amendment on HB 2010 that would have taken away Alternative to Abortion funding from Pregnancy Resource Centers by taking away their right not to be involved with abortion referrals.  The pro-abortion amendment was based on biased research information from an organization that has abortion supporters as their partners.  Vote was taken by what they call a Standing Division.  The vote was 23 pro-life votes against the pro-abortion amendment and 9 pro-abortion votes.
