We thank you Lord for making us your adopted sons and daughters and for calling us to care for each other as brothers and sisters. Today, we thank all mothers.
We pray for all mothers who have opened their hearts to the gift of life, both born and adopted; all who never knew their biological mother, but thank her for the gift of life; all who have experienced the wonder of an adopted mother’s love; all who are suffering from a past abortion; all who are grieving the loss of a child; all who are grieving the loss of their mother.
Lord, please help all to once again hold sacred human life. Help us to understand your love for us and this wonderful gift of life! Amen.
