That year, 8,129 Missouri resident pregnancies were aborted compared with 8,740 in 2013.
The 2014 number represents a 32% decrease from 2004, and a remarkable decrease of 62% since Missouri’s highest resident abortions in 1980 of 21,671.
This downward trend has been going on almost steadily thanks to years of hard work from pro-life activists like you pushing for legislation like alternatives to abortion funding, informed consent and more!
Please help us continue this trend by joining us tomorrow to lobby our legislators for more regulation of abortion facilities, a ban on dismemberment of abortions and defunding of Planned Parenthood from receiving our federal tax dollars. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Missouri State Capitol 1st floor rotunda.
