Missouri Abortion Numbers Continue to Decline

Great Job, Pro-Life Missourians!
Together we are Saving Lives!

The Missouri Department of Health and Human Services has just released the latest abortion statistics for 2017. The decline in the number of abortions continues at a steady rate.

The decline is due to all pro-life activists working together to pass pro-life laws, offer alternatives to abortion, education on fetal development and other facts of life, prayerful witness outside clinics and much more.

In 2016, the number of abortions was 7,275. In 2017, there were 6,790 abortions in Missouri. This is a 6.65% decline from 2016.

In 1980, the year the highest number of abortions were reported, there were 21,671 abortions in Missouri. The 2017 abortion number of 6,790 is a decline of 14,881 abortions, or almost 69%.

Thousands of babies have been saved year after year since 1980!

Pro-life work, on all fronts, continues to save lives and will someday restore the sanctity of human life for all our citizens.

Keep up the great work, pro-life Missouri! We are winning this fight, but it is far from over. Please help us save more lives!
