Missouri Remembers Roe, 2015

Pro-life citizens from around the state have scheduled activities to commemorate the sad anniversary of Roe v. Wade and remember the over 57 MILLION unborn children who have been killed as a result of that ruling.

In addition to the thousands of Missourians who have traveled to Washington, D.C. for the annual March for Life, several Missouri Right to Life chapters will also have events in their communities:

January 22, Sedalia — Annual Memorial Observance, 12 noon, Pettis County Courthouse.

January 22, Kansas City — Prayer Vigil for Life – 12:00 noon, Illus Davis Plaza (across from Federal Court House). Email mrl-wr@att.net for more information.

January 22, Independence — Candlelight Vigil 7-8 pm Noland Rd & 24 Highway, Independence. Sponsored by Independence Chapter MRL. For details: call 816-836-0830.

January 22, Warrensburg — Candlelight Children’s Ceremony, 7 p.m., at Bethel Baptist Church, 416 NW Hwy 13 about three miles north of Warrensburg.  Keynote speaker, Patti White, RN, founder and leader of New Beginnings Women’s Center in Warrensburg. January 22, St. Louis — Young adult pro-life holy hour and rosary, 7 pm at the Cathedral Basilica.

January 25, Lamar, Barton County — Barton County Right to Life January 22nd  Memorial Service. Memorial Hall, Lamar MO, 2:00 pm. Keynote Speaker will be Randy Gariss, pastor of College Heights Christian Church in Joplin MO.

January 31, Statewide — Midwest March for Life and Rally, Jefferson City, Prayers and Exhibitors, Capitol, 8:00 am to 10:00 am, March, Governor’s Mansion 10:00 to 10:40 am, Rally 10:45 Capitol Rotunda, Luncheon immediately following at Selinger Center, reservations for luncheon are required, call (573) 340-8444.
