Missouri Department of Health – University of Missouri
Planned Parenthood, Abortionist Colleen McNicholas
and Pathology Services, Inc.:
PARTNERS IN BREAKING MISSOURI LAWS AND KILLING BABIES
Ongoing investigations by the Missouri Senate and House Committees continue to bring to light the sinister workings of the above groups, as they bend and break Missouri laws to allow Planned Parenthood in Columbia and St. Louis to profit from killing babies and selling their precious baby body parts.
We thank the Senate and House Committee members who are seeking answers on the “selling and buying of baby body parts for research” and the licensure of the Columbia Planned Parenthood.
Governor Nixon and Attorney General Koster have the power to stop the illegal maneuvering by the Department of Health, the University of Missouri, Columbia, Planned Parenthood, Abortionist Colleen McNicholas and Pathology Services, Inc. To date, however, Nixon and Koster sit silent while an illegal license is issued to Planned Parenthood in Columbia, the University of Missouri enables the issuance of this license and baby body parts in St. Louis are unaccounted for and likely sold to unknown research institutes either in Missouri or out of state.
For years Missouri citizens have been electing pro-life legislators such that we now have a super majority in the Senate and the House. These pro-life majorities have made it clear as they have passed legislation that it is the intent of Missouri laws to protect women, their babies and their families. Missourians are appalled by the ability of those listed above to break Missouri laws with impunity and without consequence.
Planned Parenthood is the nation’s largest provider of abortions. At least one-third of all abortions in the U.S. are performed at Planned Parenthood-affiliated facilities. According to their most recent annual report, Planned Parenthood receives at least $528 million annually from the federal government or other levels of government, all while violating the intent, if not the letter, of both Federal and State laws prohibiting the sale of fetal remains.
Missouri has federally qualified public health centers, rural state health departments and other facilities that offer complete healthy women exams, but do not offer abortions. Missouri legislators should prioritize all of our tax dollars from all sources to fund these other health centers before funding Planned Parenthood, and they should pass it with an emergency clause to insure quick protection for women and their babies.
Missouri Right to Life also calls on lawmakers in the 2016 legislative session to pass legislation, with an emergency clause, requiring on-site abortion clinic inspections at least annually.
That legislation should include the accounting for every aborted baby body part and the disposition of these little baby bodies. It should also ensure that the University of Missouri does not use our tax dollars for abortion services of any kind, human cloning, embryonic stem cell research or research on aborted babies. We also ask the legislature to clearly define “clinical privileges” required for abortionists so clear and elementary that even the Department of Health can understand the law.
