Below is a press statement from Coalition for Life regarding a suspected botched abortion that occurred at the Planned Parenthood of the Greater St. Louis Region on Saturday March 7th, 2015.
This incident illustrates why we need annual abortion clinic inspections! Please contact your Senators and encourage them to take up and pass HB 190 or SB 33, the “Women’s Protection Act” requiring annual inspection of abortion facilities.
“BREAKING: Woman Severely Hurt at Planned Parenthood Abortion Facility
Coalition for Life Statement
On Saturday March 7th, at approximately 2:20 PM, Kenneth Capps, a Coalition for Life volunteer, witnessed the arrival of a fire truck and Emergency Response Team to Planned Parenthood of the Greater St. Louis Region on Forest Park Ave.
This was followed by an ambulance which arrived at the clinic at 2:35 PM. At 2:45 PM, the emergency responders came out of the main entrance, carrying a woman on a stretcher. Eye-witness, Kenneth Capps, commented of her appearance:
“The woman had blonde hair, appeared to be about in her thirties, was extremely pale and could be heard audibly wailing.”
We highly suspect that the emergency lengths taken in this situation and as witnessed by Kenneth were the result of a botched abortion.
On Monday March 9th, our staff attempted to reach Planned Parenthood regarding this incident; however, no one was available for comment.

Despite Planned Parenthood’s very vocal and public assertion that “in-clinic abortion procedures are very safe”, we continue to witness and receive reports of ambulance sightings at the clinic off of Forest Park Ave.
The above sighting is the latest of the 28 that have been recorded since 2009.
